About

Dr. Jeneve Kanaventi, Psy.D.

Licensed clinical psychologist serving individuals, families, and court-involved cases throughout Los Angeles County.

Dr. Kanaventi is a licensed clinical psychologist who works collaboratively to understand the needs of a person and provide support in a safe, empathic space. She believes the therapeutic process begins with a trusting relationship — where clients can respectfully explore their unique history, heal from pain, and build resiliency.

She provides a nonbiased space to feel supported and explore, together, the feelings and life experiences that shape how a person makes decisions.

“Every case carries its own history. The work is to honor that history while helping people build what’s next.”

Court-involved work

Dr. Kanaventi has extensive experience within the Los Angeles Superior Court system completing parent and child interviews and custody mediation. She helps resolve custody and visitation disputes by working with parents to develop their parenting plans, reducing the need for litigation.

She has also provided a broad range of individual services to children, adults, and families within community mental health settings — including high-risk cases and cases with Department of Family Services involvement.
